BTF is genre-agnostic and built by people who've lived the grind. If you've got the talent and the hunger, here's what backing from this community looks like:
Studio time, mixing, music videos, features — paid for by the community treasury, released against milestones. The small money that turns a demo into a moment.
100%. BTF never takes ownership of your music. A treasury recoup on what a funded project earns — that's it. The fairest deal in music, by design.
Token holders vote on who gets funded next. Your fans become your backers — and they have a real, on-chain stake in your rise.
Your own pro EPK page on the BTF site, social pushes across the whole movement, and the press hub venues and curators actually look at.
Standout artists get real development guidance from itswho401 — the same artist-development work behind the founding roster.
BTF was founded by Jonathan Lopez (itswho401) — a DJ, producer, and songwriter who's spent years performing across the country and developing artists at the most important stages of their careers.
For him, music started as survival before it ever became a business — a way to process real loss and find purpose. That's why BTF exists: he's watched too many talented artists get overlooked for lack of resources, or get taken by unfair deals that cost them ownership of their own work.
He's collaborated with respected artists and producers including Mr. Exoh, Gavin Quinn, and Dr. Witchdoctor, worked alongside EDM artists like Petty God and Ecka Music, is a member of the Bay Area's MURMC music community, and came up under hip-hop and DJ manager Magic Love. The relationships are real — and now they're behind you.
Applications are open and reviewed by itswho401 management. Stage name is fine. No fees, ever.
